In Simplicity There Is Strength…
I’ve loved philosophy as long as I can recall. What it boils down to is that
we are curious and simple humans. Our minds are truly the only zone of
privacy left in today’s world, and our actions always speak louder than our
words. It is important to be aware of this fact, because all to often you|
become what you think.
My father was a simple man, and from him I learned the beauty of pure
intentions. He never candy coated anything, and with him you always
knew where you stood. Because of him, I learned to steer clear of drama
and complicated situations.
My mother cultivated this simplicity by encouraging me to focus on what I
truly wanted. When I started out in modeling and acting, she was always
there for me as a strong, silent reminder to express myself and be the best
version of me possible.
My experience in martial arts put all of this into focus through training
and discipline. To succeed, I have to come from a place of true intentions
and humility with respect for the uniqueness in others. Strong choices
communicate these intentions. In simplicity there is strength.
